This series of work is exploring the concept of loving protection in all its forms, - whether that is expressed in the form of parenthood and the complete trust given to us by our children to protect them, the loving protection of our spiritual elders, or the loving protection (often unspoken) between adults, whether that is between lovers, partners, family, or friends. “ The Guardian “ series is only in its infancy but I can feel a lot of beautiful work in this series is waiting to be made manifest.

"Balance" Series |

| This is a close up of a sculpture in the” Balance” Series, which I make in a large, medium and small size. This series began when I began exploring the concept of extraterrestrial communication, particularly with people on Pleiades as there is a lot of information out there on this subject and it seems completely plausible to me that people really are in communication with them telepathically. It seems their only intent is for what is best for us both individually and for humanity as a whole, which is the message within this sculpture. I intentionally keep the basic form for this sculpture fairly uniform, as that is important for the meaning conveyed within works in this series. |

"Seed Pod" Series |

This series of palm size sculptures are beautiful, and the feeling they exude are of preciousness…like every child on the planet who are like little flower seeds with unlimited potential before them while at the same time being completely dependant on those around them for that potential to blossom. The “Seedpod” series were born out of that concept and how all of us are responsible for not only our own children but for every child whose path crosses ours in life.

"Moon Watcher" Series |

This series was first created when I saw my own shadow when I was outside basking in the glow of the full moon. Not very deep I know, but my shadow was spectacular in its elongated glory and is etched into my mind forever. There is a hollow in this sculpture between the thighs and stomach – perfect for displaying incense sticks, a beautiful dried flower, feathers or a fresh flower if you wrap the stem. I guess I am simply sculpting a moment in time with “MoonWatcher”, but sometimes, it is fleeting moments in life that leave a feeling so special they last forever.

This original sculpture,” BODY FORM" is part of a series of work exploring figurative form as a means of expression without words or facial expression. Recent works in this series incorporate exploring form and light, which is the basis of some really stunning sculptures. In combination with the gentle glow from the candle in the spaces, this series of work has definite presence, with each sculpture silently conveying its own message

This is one of my latest sculptures, and it will be the basis of a new series of portrait sculptures, as I love the design. The back of this “Classical Sculpture” is concave, and it rises out of rough clay at the base becoming more refined as the portrait emerges, and feels both modern and classical in its form. So if you’ve ever wanted a portrait sculpted send me a front and side photograph to sculpt from and I will sculpt my interpretation of what I sense about you or your loved ones from your photograph. As this is a new venture you will not be obligated to buy unless you love it, even tho it is a portrait.
